2.4mR Fleet Racing
at Okoboji Yacht Club in Iowa!

Gavia Yachts is delighted that it has been chosen as the supplier of the Norlin Mark III fleet at the Okoboji Yacht Club, South Manhattan Beach, Milford, IA.
The second set of four boats in the fleet were delivered in early July making the fleet a total of eight boats. With the fleet starting its racing season on June 16, the rest of the summer looks good for sailing with five or more boats each weekend.
We believe this fleet is now the largest 2.4mR fleet in the United States.
A fleet dinner was hosted by Jim Danbom on Saturday evening, July 28 in Milford, IA. Most of the fleet members and their spouses were present. With loads of camaraderie a good time was had by all. There were various discussions on the process of building the boats, sailing the boats and fleet building.
A training session was held for some fleet members on Sunday afternoon, July 29.
